September 21, 2018 - By Justin Balkhi

After two men were shot in one neighborhood of Chicago, police started its search for the gunman in the mask.

Now they have doubled their forces in Rogers Park of Chicago, where the suspect has been seen previously. According to the official information, two men were shot one day after another by the same shooter who wore a black mask during the first shooting.

According to the police department, killing that happened in the same area with the difference in one day were committed by the same person, and with the same weapon. The first killing happened on Sunday and the second on Monday.

Now, police are asking the community for help in finding a suspect. They ask all possible witnesses to contact the police department immediately.

Police have confirmed that on Sunday, Douglass Watts of 73 years was peacefully walking his dog in a park when a suspect shot him dead in the head.

On Monday, Eliyahu Moscowitz, 24-year-old, was also hot in the head, only a few blocks away from the first killing.

According to the ballistic expertise, both murders were committed from the same weapon, and probably by the same person. On the 2nd of October, Superintendent has announced the news through social media page.

Police also suspect that shooting is random, and two victims have not connected to each other anyhow, except they live in a nearby area.

Nothing was taken from them. There is also an unclear motive.

Chicago police say that they will use all resources to solve the case.
