Flu shots to everyone! Centers for Disease Control and Prevention proclaimed that they are ready for the new season of flu, which according to specialists may be as severe as it was the previous year.

Now millions of doses of vaccine are waiting to be used for the protection of people. Officials say that there are over 168 million vaccines that can help patients not to die from the 2018-2019 season of flu.

Specialists from CDC stated that every person starting from the age of 6 months can receive a flu shot until the end of the month. So, of course, you can delay your vaccination or avoid it, but remember that vaccine takes 2 weeks in general to produce enough antibodies against the virus. And usually, the season of flu starts somewhere near November or in the first numbers of the next month.

Symptoms that appear unexpectedly can include muscle aches, headache, chills, cough, fever, and sweats, sore throat, etc.

This year experts came back to consideration of nasal spray vaccine, which they declined during two last years. Now they are ready to use this type of vaccination as well for those who don’t want to receive injections.

Meanwhile, the nasal vaccine should not be given to children, pregnant women, elderly after 50 years old, and asthma patients.

According to CDC officials, while the last flu season was one of the deadliest in the history, vaccinations helped to cut risks for over 40 percent.
