New York Comic Con gives 100 million dollars to the economy of NYC

It is one of the biggest events in New York. According to the administration of the event, it was bigger than they could even imagine. Now New York City has 100 million dollars in its economy thanks to devoted fans.

This year, Comic Con in New York City sold 250 000 tickets. And ReedPop had to expend the number of locations neat the Javits Center. Some of them are in Madison Square Garden and Hammerstein Ballroom.

According to the officials from Comic Con NYC, there are 420 panels with favorite stars and writers, and everyone you wanted to see.

Convention of Comic fans became real mainstream movement during the last several years. One of the most famous Comic Con happens every year in San Diego. There are also popular events in Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, and New York.

Who could imagine that at 9 am in the morning there will be a line of fans stretching for five blocks to 11th Avenue, Jacob K. Javits Convention Center?

All Comic Con dwellers were happy with the perfect sunny weather as well.

The line was filled with Wonder Women, Captains America, Betmen, and Jokers. Devoted fans of Comic books stood for hours to buy comics or other collectibles and later to see actors.

It is the 13th year when the Center hosts New York Comic Con. The event is annual and launched by Reed Pop, an organizer of Reed Exhibitions.

The conference will take place for 4 days. There were 250 000 tickets sold.
